Citrus Spareribs
4 to 5 lbs Spareribs
6oz fresh orange juice
1/2 cup light brown sugar
¾ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons molasses
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
2 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons onion (grated)
Place spareribs (cut into serving pieces) in large pot. Cover
with water and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer
(covered) for 30 minutes.
Drain and refrigerate until ready to grill.
Mix orange juice with remaining ingredients.
Place spareribs on grill about 8 inches from heat.
Cook 15 minutes.
Turn and brush with orange sauce.
Cook 15 to 30 minutes more, turning and brushing
frequently with sauce.
(Serves 4 to 6).
